How It Works

Book An Appointment

Anyone can apply for a medical card if diagnosed with or suffering from one or more qualifying health conditions. Patients under eighteen (18) years need a caregiver to register with them.

Meet With a Doctor

You will receive an email link for your telemedicine appointment. Our friendly DocMJ physician will consult with you and talk about your symptoms, medications, and wellness goals. You will have the opportunity to ask questions you may have about adding MMJ to your treatment plan.

Get Approved

After a review of the patient’s qualifying health condition, diagnosis, and medical history, the physician will provide a recommendation.

If the doctor approves your recommendation for MMJ, the physician will create your profile in the Patient & Caregiver Registry. Patients must then log into their profile to confirm and complete the registration process. You will receive an email from the Ohio MMCP to log in.

You must apply online for your Ohio medical card on the Ohio MMCP registration portal. Patients are required to pay an annual registration fee of $50. Caregivers are required to pay a $25 annual fee. After you complete your registration, and pay the fee, click on the ACTIVATE CARD button. Then you can download and print your medical card or access a mobile version of your card to present at the dispensary.
